Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor your attention to detail will show the Housekeeping team that you are committed to providing luxury Guest experiences. The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a “fun” place to work.

Starting Rate: $23.19 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.82.

Job Duties Include:

  • Ensure service excellence through inspections, VIP arrivals, and addressing guest concerns.

  • Coach, train, and manage team performance, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.

  • Oversee daily housekeeping tasks, maintenance reporting, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

  • Manage supplies, deep cleaning initiatives, and special projects such as renovations.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure efficiency, guest satisfaction, and smooth operations.


Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel housekeeping environment.
  • Strong training and coaching skills, with a proven ability to develop team members.
  • Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, specifically Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Amadeus (HotSOS) Housekeeping Software is a plus.
  • Proactive with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to others.
  • Quick decision-making ability, with a capacity to evaluate and choose the best course of action.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced, high-stress situations.
  • Skilled at listening, understanding, and resolving concerns or issues raised by coworkers and guests.
  • Capable of performing duties with attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy, and a cooperative attitude, with minimal supervision.

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
