We are currently look for a Night Auditor to join our Front Office Department and become a crucial member of our Night Team!


Job Description

THE ROLE

  • This role is required to work overnight from 11pm to 7.30am the next day.
  • Assisting late guest arrivals and early departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused
  • Knowledge in Opera PMS and balancing procedures. Run reports and draw up statistical information as required by finance policies and procedures
  • Compile Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing to specific departments in a timely manner as required
  • Complete computer system backups and save in accordance with finance policies and procedures
  • Assist in the management of the hotel Front Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualized customer focused service in the hotel locality
  • Assist night services including room service, OTS, car parking and porter services, ensuring guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possible

Qualifications

THE PERSON

  • Minimum 12 months experience in Front Office or similar role
  • Experience within a 5 star luxury environment advantageous
  • Experience with Financial Reporting
  • Must have General Manager's Certificate and LCQ Certificate or the ability to obtain
  • Must have Full NZ Drivers license
  • Knowledge of Opera preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and public holiday
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
