Job Description

  • This role will be based in Bangkok, Jakarta or Singapore
  • Support the design, development and implementation of compensation and benefits (C&B) programs, policies and processes to meet organizational needs.
  • Assist in the management of the annual salary review cycle and short-term Incentive Plan (STIP) for multiple offices and Hotel’s General Managers.
  • Maintain job evaluation systems, evaluate job roles, update compensation ranges and ensure internal equity across the organization. 
  • Execute C&B surveys, conduct competitive analysis and benchmark compensation package to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Manage benefits programs, including insurance plans across multiple offices, and expatriate benefits in Asia.
  • Oversees the management of contractual agreements for Hotel’s General Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Compensation Programs

  • Assist in the design, development and implementation of compensation programs aimed at attracting, retaining and motivating employees.
  • Serve as a consultant to T&C Business Partners and Operations leaders, offering advice on the compensation structures and design solutions that comply with local labour regulations, align with Accor’s compensation philosophy, and reflect market practices.
  • Collaborate with Talent & Culture (T&C) leaders and Business Partners to ensure compensation programs align with the organization's strategic objectives, are competitive, cost-effective, and legally compliant.
  • Prepare and communicate compensation guidelines, policies and procedures to management and employees effectively.
  • Support the annual review of job grading structures and compensation scales to maintain market competitiveness, including revising and redesigning current grade and pay structures to enhance retention and career development.
  • Maintain job evaluation systems and evaluate job roles.
  • Oversee the preparation of contractual agreements for Hotel’s General Managers, ensuring alignment with approved compensation packages.
  • Support the execution of annual salary reviews, STIP payments, and related processes for multiple offices and Hotel’s General Managers to ensure fair, competitive and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct and review pay gap analysis between male and female employees.
  • Support the rollout of the annual Group STIP and assist with communication kits for employees.

 

2. Market salary and benefits survey

  • Lead the annual compensation and benefits survey for office-based positions and hotels.
  • Supervise the production of survey results, analyze the results, and update compensation scales for offices and hotels in multiple locations.
  • Utilize market data to provide recommendations and guidance on annual salary review and compensation packages.
  • Participate in ad-hoc surveys that are valuable for enhancing C&B programs.

 

3. Benefits Programs

  • Oversee the administration of employee group insurance plans and collaborate with brokers/consultants on annual insurance renewals.
  • Supervise the enrolment and termination of benefit programs (e.g. insurance programs for General Managers).
  • Review hotels benefits scheme to ensure compliance with minimum benefits requirements as per laws.
  • Assist in communicating benefits guidelines, policies and procedures

 

4. Compensation and Benefits projects

  • Participate in compensation and benefits projects.
  • Assist in reviewing expatriates packages, allowances, benefits, and recommend enhancements to remain competitive.
  • Contribute ideas and resources, and develop and implement regional guidelines, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, preferably with specialization on Compensation and Benefits.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefit.
  • Prior experience in compensation consulting firm is preferred.
  • Experience with job evaluation, preferably using Hay or Mercer methodologies.
  • Good working knowledge of personal income regulations, labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Familiar with expatriate packages and mobility programs.
  • Proven experience in conducting annual salary reviews and managing C&B surveys.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro functions.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities, handle multiple tasks/projects, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
