The HR Business Partner will be responsible and accountable for shaping and developing the Talent & Culture strategy. The HR Business Partner will have a key role in building the Social Relations strategy and agreements Within Shipping Hold CO and its 2 other entities MarineCO and TourCO.


Job Description

Orient express Silenseas are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead the HR department. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing all aspects of Human Resources.

Join our growing and dynamic environment, where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Human Resources across Silenseas brand, focusing on strategic initiatives in Human Resources Strategy, Social Relations, and Talent Experience.

Main missions

1. T&C STRATEGY / HR

· Develop and implement Talent & Culture / HR policies and procedures aligned with ACCOR and LVMH code of conducts, strategy and overarching objectives.

· Develop and manage core HR functions to provide comprehensive support to Shipping Hold Co employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

· Provide counsel, guidance, and day-to-day support to managers on coaching, career development, performance management, and disciplinary and grievance actions.

· Maintain and update HR data and documentation.

2. SOCIAL RELATIONS

· Contribute to the establishment of Shipping Hold Co’s legal entity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

· Lead the development of social relations strategies and agreements within Shipping Hold Co, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

3. TALENT EXPERIENCE

· Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, talent management, retention, and development, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.

4. PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION

. Administrative management of employment contracts (drafting, monitoring renewals, amendments).

. Monitoring individual employee files (absences, leave, sick leave, maternity leave, etc.).

. Updating legal registers (personnel register, entry/exit registers).

. Management of recruitment and departure formalities (DPAE, final accounts, work certificates).

. Implementation of internal procedures relating to personnel management (mobility, promotions, disciplinary sanctions).

5. MANAGEMENT OF VARIABLE PAY ELEMENTS

. Collection and verification of variable data (overtime, bonuses, absences, leave, etc.) for integration into the payroll software.

. Coordination with managers to ensure the accuracy of the elements transmitted.

. Monitoring regulatory changes (contributions, social security charges) to ensure that payroll processes are compliant.

. Analysis of payroll discrepancies and correction of any anomalies.

. Managing relations with external bodies (URSSAF, pension funds, mutual insurance companies, occupational medicine, etc.).

6. OTHER MISSIONS

· Represent Orient Express Silenseas in external forums and industry events to promote the brand's employer brand.

. Represent Orient Express Silenseas for HR matters in franchisors and shareholders events.


Qualifications

What you have for us – Main qualifications

· Ability to build and implement strategies as well as to manage projects in a complex environment.

· Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs.

· Strong understanding of social relations practices and regulations, with experience in negotiating and managing labor agreements.

· Human oriented.

· Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Good written communication skills.

· Proactive and decisive.

· Strong ability to work independently.

· Effective leader with ability to inspire and communicate at all levels.

· Experience leading on a variety of legal matters around human resources and social relations topics, ideally with experience in handling social relations and legal agreements.

· Confident and calm under pressure, adaptive, with a positive can-do attitude.

· Fluent in English and French.

Experience

· Human Resources degree / Legal qualifications and previous experience

· HR/Social Relations roles.

· Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 10 years in a leadership role in a growing environment.

· Strong experience working in international environments, preferably the hospitality, cruise or luxury industry
