Welcome to Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley, a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Melbourne’s south-east. With 200 guest rooms, Meze Restaurant, Meze Bar, and a busy conferencing and events operation, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Guest Service Agents to join our Front Office team. We have opportunities available on both a Full-Time and Part-Time basis.


Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and enjoy being the welcoming face of a busy hotel?

We are looking for friendly, professional and service-focused Guest Service Agents to join our Front Office team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service from arrival through to departure.

These positions require flexibility to work a rotating roster across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

What you'll be doing...

  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine arrival experience
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to guest enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Handle reservations, room allocations and guest account transactions
  • Promote hotel facilities, services and Accor loyalty programs
  • Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Resolve guest concerns confidently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with hotel procedures
  • Assist with daily Front Office operational requirements
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and guest-focused team culture

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or customer service environment preferred
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation and a positive attitude
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
  • Strong computer skills with experience using hotel property management systems (Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
