Job Description

Workload: 50–60% | Monday to Friday (flexible within office hours)

Possibility of up to 1 day home office per week

 

Are you an experienced hotel professional who enjoys combining reservations, commercial thinking and partner relationships?

We are looking for a Groups / FIT Reservations & Commercial Supervisor (F/M/X) to join our team in Zurich and take an active role in developing and managing our Groups and FIT business.

Working alongside our full-time Groups & FIT Reservations Coordinator, you will bring your experience, commercial mindset and ability to make sound decisions independently.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on Groups & FIT requests, with a particular focus on complex and commercially important business
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with Tour Operators and key partners, ensuring professional and timely communication
  • Proactively identify and develop new partnership and business opportunities
  • Manage commercial reviews and contract renewals with key partners, in coordination with Revenue and Hotel Management
  • Identify need periods and initiate promotions and tactical offers to generate additional business
  • Prepare and negotiate offers optimizing group business according to availability, demand and hotel strategy
  • Prepare the group revenue forecast and contribute to the annual budget preparation
  • Handle complex requests, including escalated complaints, overbooking, relocations and inventory situations
  • Work closely with Front Office, Revenue, Sales and hotel operations
  • Support complex or commercially significant meeting and event requests in collaboration with the F&B Manager
  • Share your expertise and support the development of our Groups & FIT Coordinator
  • Contribute ideas to continuously improve our Groups & FIT processes and commercial performance
  • Covers the reservation coordinator position during holidays and absences.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in hotel reservations, Groups & FIT and/or Front Office ideally with Tour Operator Business
  • Previous Front Office supervisory or management experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong commercial mindset and the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate and make decisions independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build long-term partner relationships
  • Organized, reliable and solution oriented, with the ability to manage several priorities
  • Spanish and English are required, both written and spoken; German or French, are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of hotel PMS Opera Cloud and reservation systems
