Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and versatile General Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our facility operations, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment and systems. We need a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in keeping our operations running smoothly.   • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the facility
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and infrastructure to identify potential issues
  • Install and set up new equipment as needed, following technical specifications and safety guidelines
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations with professionalism and urgency
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless facility operations and address cross-functional needs
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate actively in ongoing training and skill development programs to stay current with industry standards
  • Assist in inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Adapt to new technologies and procedures, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to innovation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or vocational certificate in a relevant technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a general technician or in a similar maintenance role
  • Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment related to facility maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analyze complex issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals and schematics accurately
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and best practices
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform various maintenance tasks safely and effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Relevant certifications in specific technical areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are preferred
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping, documentation, and communication purposes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and industry innovations
