Job Description

As Front Office Manager, you'll take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team. You’ll ensure smooth, efficient service delivery while maintaining brand standards, driving financial performance, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. You will also play a key role in building team engagement through clear communication, recognition, and a commitment to loyalty; creating a culture where our people feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow with us.

You’ll champion ALL (Accor Live Limitless) by promoting our loyalty program and ensuring our guests feel rewarded and recognised throughout their stay, helping to build lasting relationships and drive brand loyalty.

Key Tasks:

  • Champion a people-first culture by providing regular coaching, on-the-job training
  • Identify process improvements, implement guest experience enhancements, and contribute to the strategic goals of the hotel
  • Ensure the efficient and professional running of the front office, including managing daily check-ins/outs, guest queries, and resolution of issues, while maintaining service excellence
  • Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, and rostering, while promoting team engagement and career development opportunities.
  • Actively encourage and train your team in upselling, cross-selling, and promoting our Loyalty program ALL – Accor Live Limitless
  • Ensure front office operations are aligned with Accor brand standards, health & safety regulations, and hotel policies.
  • Manage front office financial procedures including billing, floats, cash handling, and budget alignment.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and Revenue team.
  • Remain calm under pressure and take decisive action to handle emergencies, guest complaints or conflicts

 


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years relevant Front Office experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Possess a strong background in Front Office procedures and Opera Cloud PMS (preferred)
  • Proven experience managing rosters and costs to achieve budgets and targets
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams
  • Excellent time management and communication skills including rapport building between internal and external stakeholders
  • An LCQ qualification, and a current Managers Certificate
  • New Zealand Full drivers licence
