Food Stores Attendant

Food Stores ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Liquor Stores, achieving maximum employee job satisfaction while adhering to the standards required by the Hotel. Attendants will generally work in the beverage area and general supplies area.

Starting Rate: $20.25 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.13.

Job Duties Include: 

Reporting to the Procurement & Inventory Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Unload, store, and organize all items in correct locations while ensuring proper product rotation (FIFO).
• Maintain accurate perpetual inventory of all products and assist with regular inventory counts.
• Accurately fill outlet orders and requisitions in a timely manner.
• Support the Receiving department with paperwork retrieval and delivery to appropriate departments.
• Perform other duties as required to support smooth operations.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Lifting and Carrying: Over 100lbs everyday
• Pushing Pulling: Over 150lbs everyday
• Repetitive Motions: Reaching, Walking, Standing, Lifting heavy objects 

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food and beverage products
• Previous warehouse experience an asset
• Knowledge of Birch Street  (Inventory Software)
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast paced environment
• Must be a team player and have excellent organizational skills
• High School diploma
