Food and Beverage Team Leader

Located in the heart of tropical Cairns, Pullman Cairns International is a premier 5-star hotel known for refined comfort, warm Far North Queensland hospitality, and an energetic mix of international travellers, business guests, and locals. Our vibrant outlets—including Coco’s Kitchen + Bar, our Pool Bar, and extensive conference and event spaces—provide a diverse and engaging environment where no two days are the same.

We’re searching for a proactive and energetic Food & Beverage Team Leader to support our vibrant and fast-paced F&B operations at Pullman Cairns International.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be an operational champion - working alongside the team during service, setting clear expectations, and contributing to a smooth, polished, and guest-focused experience across all our F&B outlets.

What you’ll do:

• Support the supervisors and F&B Manager in daily service delivery
• Lead by example to motivate and guide team members
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and service
• Provide attentive, personalised service to guests
• Help new team members learn and succeed in their roles

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage, ideally within a hotel environment
• Strong guest service focus and excellent attention to detail
• Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to lead by example
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Experience with POS systems (Infrasys Cloud advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of PMS systems (Opera Cloud a plus)
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
