Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Server is responsible for offering individual warm and welcoming service by paying attention to the guests needs and looking for every opportunity to delight the guest with your knowledge and service levels.  The successful candidate for this position must be available to work anytime on Weekdays (Monday through Friday)

• Maintains uniform and adheres to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts grooming standards.
• Sets, serves and clears all assigned meal functions while adhering to all Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Banquet Brand Standards.
• Services, clears and refreshes coffee breaks during meeting and/or meal breaks.
• Adheres to hotel’s allergy policy.
• Maintains supplies and reports any shortages or deficiencies.
• Ensures all work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner free from all potential hazards.
• Maintains all banquet facilities, storage areas and banquet equipment in an orderly and safe manner.

• Previous banquet experience preferred an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• ServSafe Food Handlers certification an asset
• The successful candidate for this position must be available to work anytime on Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
