• Full hourly wage of $25.10/hr plus gratuities, following successful completion of probationary period

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Daily set-up and general organization of the bar area, ensuring appropriate stock of glassware, drink ingredients and mixes, and supplies
• Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Adhering to Company policies and Liquor Control Board specifications and Safety Regulations when serving alcohol to guests
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• In addition to tending the bar, table service of food and beverage may be required as business levels dictate
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous Food & Beverage service experience an asset
• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Must possess and maintain a valid Serving It Right certification

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.  The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
