Food & Beverage Team Leader

Are you ready to elevate your skills and ability as a Food & Beverage Team leader at Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments and join this ever thriving and exciting environment! Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.

As Food & Beverage Team Leader you will support the team with the smooth and efficient day to day operation of the outlets. Your role will include:

• Organise the daily operations of the Food & Beverage Team
• Leading and motivating the Team and supporting Team training
• Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments
• Efficiently in serving food & beverage for restaurant and conference rooms
• Breakfast service including buffet, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
• Assisting guests with questions and menu recommendations

Previous experience in a similar role, with hotel experience an advantage

• Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to be able to maximise average spend
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
• Interest in making genuine connections with guests and colleagues
• Availability to work varied shifts including early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays 
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling, or willing to obtain
• Must have working rights in Australia
