Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and business support Manager to join our team in Athens, Greece. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving financial strategy to support our business goals.

  • Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing daily operations and mentoring team members
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's objectives
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage budgeting processes and conduct regular financial forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with Greek financial regulations and tax laws
  • Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for decision-making
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
  • Oversee financial systems and recommend upgrades as necessary
  • Previous experience in hospitality would be a strong asset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of Greek financial regulations and tax laws
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting systems
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
