Job Description
Play a vital role in creating welcoming, impeccably maintained spaces that make every guest stay at Novotel Auckland Airport unforgettable.
- Lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure compliance with Novotel brand standards and operational procedures.
- Coordinate daily team briefings, allocate tasks, and support colleague development through coaching and performance feedback.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, special requirements, and housekeeping concerns to create memorable guest experiences.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, equipment, and room status reports to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Promote a safe and collaborative working environment by upholding hotel safety standards and partnering effectively with other departments.
Qualifications
You will be
- Experienced in leading and developing high performing teams
- Knowledgeable in housekeeping standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficient in inventory control, record keeping, and administrative tasks.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
