Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and service across all areas of the hotel.

  • Develop and implement effective training programs to help your team members grow in their roles and advance their careers.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, where collaboration, respect, and a passion for delivering outstanding service are at the forefront.

  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet the luxury standards expected by our guests.

  • Manage housekeeping operations, including rostering, performance management, and development of team members.

  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism, turning every challenge into an opportunity to exceed guest expectations.

  • Oversee inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms and equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining quality.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • A natural people leader with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all hotel departments.

  • A positive, can-do attitude, and a commitment to creating a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
