Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Manager to join our dynamic team in Udaipur, India. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind creating memorable experiences and seamlessly executing events that exceed expectations. You'll take ownership of every event from conception to completion, ensuring flawless coordination, exceptional service delivery, and outstanding customer satisfaction.   • Plan, organize, and execute events across all venues, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, timeline development, and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive event budgets, conduct P&L analysis, and track expenses to ensure profitability and cost efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate event details, timelines, and expectations clearly and transparently
  • Lead and mentor event staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) throughout all event operations
  • Manage customer relationships by listening to client needs, providing expert recommendations, and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Identify and implement upselling opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximize event profitability
  • Maintain detailed records of event planning, vendor contracts, invoicing, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with team members to ensure alignment and capture lessons learned
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for event management, ensuring consistency and operational excellence
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate procurement to support event requirements
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience by adapting to changing circumstances and managing multiple events simultaneously
  • Contribute to the organization's overall success by embodying company values and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Events Manager, Operational Events Manager, or similar role in event planning and coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency with event management software, booking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members in a supportive and collaborative manner
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations relevant to event management
  • Sales acumen and ability to identify revenue-generating opportunities
  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
  • Innovative thinking with a willingness to experiment with new ideas and approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Preferred: Experience in hospitality, hotel management, or luxury event environments
  • Preferred: Certification in event management or related field
