Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Bogor, Indonesia. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading our dedicated staff.

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of hotel operations during your shift, including front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained throughout the hotel
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work environment
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain safety and security procedures for guests and staff
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest inquiries
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Prepare and analyze daily reports on hotel performance metrics
  • Collaborate with other department heads to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and development
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Proficiency in hotel management software systems, including Opera (preferred)
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Current C-Class Manual Driver's License
  • Approved Manager License and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze performance metrics
