Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Operations to join our dynamic team at Delano Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the overall operations of our organization, ensuring excellence in service delivery, financial performance, and team management.

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and manage resources to optimize profitability while maintaining service excellence
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other executives to align operational strategies with overall business objectives
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to streamline operations and increase productivity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service quality and addressing any issues promptly
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitiveness
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in operational activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a senior operational management role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management and performance optimization
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively
  • Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and cost control
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
  • Experience in implementing and managing operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and the ability to drive innovation in operational processes
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operational management and data analysis
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
  • Experience in the luxury hospitality sector is highly desirable
