About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and solidify our position as a market leader in Accra. In this pivotal role, you will inspire a high-performing team to drive revenue growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and expand our footprint across the corporate, MICE, and premium travel sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and lead the overarching sales strategy to achieve the hotel's revenue and market share targets.
Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the sales team to ensure individual and departmental goals are met.
Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel management companies, and event planners.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in hospitality sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving market share growth.
Established network of corporate, travel industry, and MICE contacts.
Skills:
Advanced negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and revenue management principles.
Strong mentoring and team-building capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
