Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Revenue is responsible for driving total hotel profit optimization using a rational, disciplined decision-making process, while managing risk under current and anticipated market conditions. He/ she will successfully balance inventory and demand for all hotel revenue streams to maximize total hotel profit opportunities and guest satisfaction.

The Director of Revenue will leads strategic planning and collaborates with teams to drive optimum revenue and profitability for rooms and other revenue streams. Participates in annual budget process and forecasts, achieving accuracy. He / She will drive Revenue Management culture and oversee Revenue Department.

The Director of Revenue will also work closely with Reservations Manager to oversee the Reservation & Call Centre Department.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Hotel Management school or Business school
  • At least 5 years of experience in a full-time revenue management position
  • Reception/Reservation experience is an added advantage

Additional Information

  • Knowledge of Revenue Management Systems and Hotel systems (PMS, TARS)
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders and departments
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong persuasion skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
