Primary Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Oversee daily operations of the Finance department, including financial planning, budget management, and analysis of monthly operating results.
• Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
• Prepare annual reports, financial forecasts, and analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and direct financial audits.
• Conduct regular checks on financial procedures across all operational areas.

Team Management

• Recruit, develop, and manage finance team members, including performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings to facilitate communication and address issues.

Other Responsibilities

• Attend required briefings, meetings, and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Be aware of hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications for Director of Finance:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance at a 5 stars international chain hotel.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance roles, including 3 years in financial planning and management.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and financial analysis.
• Experience in budgeting, auditing, and managing corporate finance processes.
• Excellent communication in English (spoken and written).
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
