Job Description

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, auditing, and compliance.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).

  • Monitor cash flow, capital expenditure, working capital, and debt levels to maintain financial stability.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Strategic Business Development:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and financial modeling for new projects, partnerships, or expansions.

  • Identify growth opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting.

  • Support the development of ancillary revenue streams (e.g., F&B, events, wellness, loyalty programs).

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Ownership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

  • Present strategic insights and performance reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Maintain robust internal controls and risk management practices.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal standards, and international hospitality regulations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (MBA or CPA/ACCA preferred).

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, Micros, etc.) and financial software.

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business modeling, and investment analysis.

  • Proven experience working in international 5-star hotel environments—preferably with global hospitality brands.

  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
