Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior chefs and the Neil Perry team the to ensure efficient kitchen operations, especially during peak service times.
- Run the section in the absence of the Chef de partie.
- Take ownership of your designated section, ensuring smooth preparation and service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and compliance standards, with a strong understanding of HACCP requirements.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in preparing and presenting all menu items.
- Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless and memorable experiences for our guests.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery
- Current Food Handling Certification
- Experience with fine-dining presentation and cooking styles, across all sections (cold larder, pans, fryer).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume all-day dining or à la carte kitchen.
- Previous experience in a Demi Chef or similar role within a high-volume commercial kitchen.
- Experience working in a HACCP environment, with strong understanding of food safety compliance.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to adhere to portion control, food waste, and production procedures.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, with full availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills in English.
