Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.


Job Description

Cost Accountant - Azure Beach Club 

Ensure smooth and efficient operation of cost control, storerooms, and receiving and assist management in keeping the cost of food, beverage, and other supplies to the minimum while maximizing profitability.

  • To ensure that all inventory movements within the hotel are accounted for and are properly supported with appropriate documentation.
  • To report the daily and monthly F&B costs with emphasis and detailed analysis on exceptional variances such as trend of cost of sales ratios, slow moving items, breakage & loss, etc.
  • To check the data entered by Materials Management employees and to correct where necessary.
  • To cost all recipes.
  • To prepare and issue various cost reports as required by Management.
  • To understand and audit the operating procedures (purchasing, receiving, store, preparation etc.) of Materials Management Division.
  • Accounting for daily inter-outlet transfer requests for proper cost allocation while maintaining accurate inventory reconciliation.
  • Perform beverage outlet spot checks on random basis.
  • Verify spoilage reports and reports to Chief Accountant and DOF
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
