Are you passionate about creating memorable events and delivering exceptional service? Pullman Rotorua, is a premier hospitality destination in Rotorua, is looking for a dynamic and organized Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team!

Our hotel features 130 rooms and suites, a vibrant restaurant, a chic bar, and state-of-the-art meeting facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute conferences, meetings, and events, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Housekeeping, to ensure all event aspects are aligned.
- Manage event logistics, including room setup, audiovisual requirements, and catering services.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process and on the day of the event.
- Handle any last-minute changes or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
- Previous experience in event coordination or a similar role in the hospitality industry minimum 6 months
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Post Graduate diploma in Hospitality Management level 8
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A keen eye for detail and a creative flair for event design.
- Understanding and experience from the Food & Beverage department background minimum 6 months practical experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Role is Full time 32 hours per week, $28.18 per hour
