Job Description

Cluster Sales Manager

This position is responsible for the management of sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of both resorts, Pullman Maldives Maamuta & Mercure Maldives Kooddoo.

Sales Management :

  • Familiar with hotel products, rate, activities, promotions happening in both resorts, Pullman Maldives Maamuta & Mercure Maldives Kooddoo.
  • Develop strong, secure and productive business relations with all companies within portfolio under the geographic / market segment allocated. Together with to prepare in advance for monthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month.
  • Represent hotel at travel fairs, functions and other related events as directed.

Report Management :

  • Establishes a daily, weekly, monthly report which includes the details figures of sales & analysis.
  • Ensure that all incoming correspondence, inquiries, contract, request, offer, communication are attended and replied in / before due time.
  • Circulate any inquiries to related department.

Team Management :

  • Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Constantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism to identify and develop team members with potential.
  • Conduct performance review with the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or a related field in hospitality.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales within 5-Star Hotel in Maldives preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Maldives market sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
