Job Description

Guest Service

  • Provide warm, gracious, and professional welcome and farewell experiences for guests.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures in coordination with Front Office.
  • Escort guests to rooms and provide detailed room orientation.
  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize services based on guest preferences and profiles.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all guest requests and enquiries.
  • Arrange unpacking and packing services upon guest request.
  • Coordinate transportation, restaurant reservations, tours, and special arrangements for guests.
  • Ensure all VIP amenities and special occasions are properly arranged before guest arrival.
  • Conduct follow-up calls or visits to ensure guest satisfaction during the stay.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.

Butler Operations

  • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and requests.
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure guest rooms and suites are inspected and prepared according to hotel standards before arrival.
  • Monitor and replenish in-room amenities and supplies as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information and activities.
  • Support in-room dining service delivery when required.
  • Ensure all service standards, policies, and procedures are followed consistently.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments.
  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
  • Share important guest preferences and operational updates during handovers.
  • Assist colleagues during busy operations and special events when required.

 


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Butler in a luxury hospitality setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Degree from a School for Tourism & Hotel Management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a significant asset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
  • In-depth knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and international customs
  • Culinary knowledge and wine expertise
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks
  • Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of Cambodian culture and customs is highly advantageous
