Join the team at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park and bring your energy and passion for elevated hospitality to Bacar, awarded One Goblet in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards 2025 and a finalist for Hotel Restaurant of the Year at the HM Awards 2025. Bacar is a premium dining destination within Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, known for sophisticated service, thoughtful cuisine and a strong beverage identity.
We're looking for an energetic casual Barista who takes pride in delivering exceptional coffee and warm, genuine service while helping create memorable moments for our guests. As a key member of our Food & Beverage team, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality coffee, supporting service across our outlets, and sharing your coffee expertise with fellow team members to ensure a consistently outstanding guest experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Craft exceptional espresso-based coffees and specialty beverages to a high standard
- Deliver friendly, professional and efficient service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation and stock levels throughout the outlet
- Ensure coffee equipment is maintained and kept in excellent working condition
- Assist with other operational requirements as needed such as guest amenities, minibar and room service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider Food & Beverage team
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Barista in a fast paced environment
- Confidence preparing high volume espresso coffee while maintaining quality and consistency
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, extraction and milk texturing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience using POS systems and handling transactions
- A positive attitude with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, public holidays and major event days
- Live close to Sydney Olympic Park area
- Hold a valid RSA or willing to obtain
- Have unlimited work rights in Australia
