Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage professional to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations across our dining outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and event spaces. Your commitment to exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service.

  • Assist in managing daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Support the Food & Beverage team by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance
  • Help monitor financial performance by tracking revenue, controlling costs, and managing inventory to maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with the Culinary team to implement menu changes, promotions, and special offerings that align with guest preferences and market trends
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and best practices across all outlets
  • Assist in coordinating with Sales & Marketing and Events teams to execute flawless dining experiences for special events and conferences
  • Actively engage with guests to gather feedback and address any concerns promptly and professionally
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Strong passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards and best practices
  • Basic knowledge of wine varietals, cocktails, craft beers, and spirits
  • Awareness of current food and beverage industry trends and innovations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Relevant education in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
