Hostess (Flying Elephant)

Flying Elephant, a vibrant dining establishment in Novotel Al Barsha Dubai, is seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Provide menus and inform guests about any special offerings or promotions
• Coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Assist with basic cash handling and payment processing
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve any customer concerns
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service practices
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Food safety certification is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate a busy restaurant floor
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
