Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall financial management of the Hotel including financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development and maintenance of adequate internal accounting control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  • Analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report any variances to the concerned department heads.
  • Managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, General Ledger reporting.
  • Cash handling functions for the hotel and reconcile all cash dropped at the front desk & restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Fully conversant in accounting principles and financial regulation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus
