Job Description

Your Impact: 

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, offering insightful advice to guide decision-making across all departments.
  • Partner with department heads to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead a Finance team (payroll, accounts, cashiering, and gaming) with a focus on mentoring and development.
  • Champion financial systems improvements while maintaining strong internal efficency and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Company, Hotel, and legislative standards at all times.
  • Prepare and review financial reports with a high level of accuracy for the General Manager, Company and Owners.
  • Liaise confidently with banks, auditors, suppliers, and owners.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring To The Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' finance experience with leadership exposure.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (experience with Sun, Opera Cloud, HumanForce, WageEasy, PurchasePlus and Micros Simphony is highly regarded).
  • A collaborative leader with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Hospitality or hotel industry experience highly regarded.
