The hotel has an opportunity for a passionate Food & Beverage leader for the role of Full-time Assistant Manager - Conference & Events (C&E) Operations (Assistant Banquet Manager).


Job Description

Reporting to the Banquet Manager and Food & Beverage Manager you will have the autonomy to make decisions, run the department and lead a great team of people. 

As our Assistant Manager C&E Ops, you main duties and responsibilities are included but not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the Banquet Operations department in conjunction with the Food & Beverage team, Kitchen team and our C&E sales team
  • Ensure that each function is set up according to the Banquet Event Order
  • Deliver catering to the standards outlined on the Banquet Event Order
  • Effectively complete onboarding and training of new staff 

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to work most effectively in a team environment
  • A fantastic attitude to providing quality work and service
  • Dedication to delivering 5 star standards
  • Exceptional at delivering quality customer service
  • Flexible availability to work a rotating roster
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in managing banquet operations in hotel or event venues

Additional Information

 

  • Possess a valid NSW RSA competency card
  • Have full working right in Australia
