We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Executive to join our finance team at ibis Jaipur, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Accounts Payable department
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of the vendor master file
- Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices in accounts payable management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field in Finance is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts payable
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and team members
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices
