Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Operations to join our dynamic organization in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of our business, ensuring exceptional performance and driving strategic growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Analyze operational data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
  • Manage and optimize budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance across all operational areas
  • Collaborate with department heads to set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization
  • Implement and maintain industry best practices and quality standards across all operational functions
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations and industry standards in the UAE
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and local authorities
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity and success

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of 3+ years in senior operations management roles, preferably in a related industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in budget planning, execution, and profit optimization
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Outstanding strategic planning and execution capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing large-scale initiatives
  • Proficiency in operations management software and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in risk management and change management
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Knowledge of UAE business practices and regulations highly desirable
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all business practices
