Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The VP Finance & Accounting ENA is responsible for the overall financial, accounting, and transactional operations of the Europe & North Africa region.
They ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
They also lead the Finance Transformation plan and oversee the performance and governance of the Share Service Center in India and the Billing Center in Romania, driving process standardization and financial excellence across the region.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:


1. Regional Financial management
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements (IFRS / local GAAP) for all ENA entities.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Guarantee compliance with Group financial policies and internal control standards.
• Supervise regional treasury, cash management, and working capital performance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure adherence to local regulations.


2. Management of the Shared Service Center in India
• Lead and oversee all transactional finance operations (R2R) performed by the SSC for the ENA region.
• Ensure service quality, efficiency, and compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
• Strengthen governance between the regional headquarters and the SSC.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives.

3. Billing Center Management (Romania)
• Lead and supervise all billing operations (OTC) carried out by the Billing Center for the ENA region.
• Ensure service quality, efficiency, and compliance with configured contracts in Rainbow, SLAs, etc.
• Strengthen governance and standardization with the ENA Finance & Accounting Process Director between entities and the Billing Center.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives.

4. Finance Transformation
• Define and implement the Finance Transformation strategy for ENA, focusing on simplification, standardization, and digitalization.
• Lead major projects related to new billing tools, consolidation systems, reporting, BI tools, and RPA solutions.
• Promote a data driven culture and enhance financial performance capabilities across the region.
• Foster talent development, process ownership, and operational excellence within Finance teams.


5. Business Partnering
• Provide actionable financial insights to the ENA leadership team.
• Support strategic initiatives (growth projects, restructuring, M&A, and partnerships).
• Act as a key business partner to operations, improving profitability and cash generation.
• Ensure strong coordination and alignment with global Finance teams and Group headquarters.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATION / COMPETENCIES:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred).


REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Proven experience in managing an offshore Shared Service Center (SSC), with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in international environments, showing agility, proactivity, and strong operational leadership.
• Strong background in finance transformation, digitalization, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with the European accounting and Tax regulations

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
• At least 15 years of experience in corporate finance.
