The position is based in Accor's flagship Canberra hotel, Novotel Canberra conveniently based in the city centre opposite the light rail. We are a 286 room hotel with 7 conferencing and event facilities hosting all events from Corporate groups to sports teams.


Job Description

Join our team as our Telephonist and build your career with Accor! 

Currently, we are looking for a part-time Telephonist with the potential of full-time for right candidate. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Answering and re-directing calls
  • Administration and office duties
  • Data entry
  • Invoicing

Qualifications

The successful applicant will ideally have:

    • Excellent time management and organisational skills
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Professional phone etiquette
    • Professional presentation
    • Computer literacy
    • Ability to multi task
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts / days
    • Experience with Opera cloud is a bonus.
