Job Description

Summary

As a Speciality Hostess – Pool & Beach at Banyan Tree Dubai, your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive at the Pool & Beach area. You'll warmly welcome guests, provide helpful information, you'll play a key part in providing excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly Welcome Guests: Greet guests warmly upon their arrival at the pool and beach areas, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Manage Seating: Efficiently manage seating arrangements to optimize guest comfort and ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Provide Wait Times: Offer accurate wait times to guests and diligently monitor waiting lists.
  • Assist Guests: Provide assistance to guests, including offering information about pool and beach facilities, amenities, and activities.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Proactively address any guest concerns or special requests, striving to exceed expectations and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and seamless service delivery.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain awareness of safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests at all times.
  • Cleanliness Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the pool and beach areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
  • Promote Services: Inform guests about available services, promotions, and special offers to enhance their experience.
  • Handle Reservations: Assist with managing reservations for poolside and beachside amenities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Upsell Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities to maximize revenue generation while enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain Atmosphere: Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

 


Qualifications

Experience/Certificates/Education

  • Previous experience in a similar role internationally or a minimum of 2 years in luxury hotel and high-end beach club.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Friendly and hospitable approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and handling guest inquiries with tact.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Good oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well-groomed appearance consistently.
