Summary
As a Speciality Hostess at Banyan Tree Dubai, your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive. You'll warmly welcome guests, provide helpful information, you'll play a key part in providing excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Warmly Welcome Guests: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the F&B outlet.
- Manage Seating: Efficiently manage the seating chart to facilitate table rotation and optimize dining space usage.
- Provide Wait Times: Offer accurate wait times to guests and diligently monitor waiting lists.
- Assist Guests: Address guest inquiries and provide comprehensive information about our menu, specials, and promotions.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Proactively address any concerns or special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Handle Reservations: Manage reservation inquiries effectively and confirm reservations promptly.
- Update Reservation System: Keep our reservation system updated with precise and current information.
- Maintain Atmosphere: Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Experience/Certificates/Education
- Previous experience in a similar role internationally or a minimum of 2 years in luxury hotel and high-end restaurant environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Friendly and hospitable approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and handling guest inquiries with tact.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good oral proficiency in English language.
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-groomed appearance consistently.
