Job Description

  1. Constant development and training in all treatments and customer service.
  2. Ensuring the level of customer service, quality of offer, presentation of the Spa experience, changing areas, treatment rooms and retail areas are maintained to the agreed standards.
  3. Provide treatments and training within the therapy department to the highest standards of service whilst supporting the Spa & Wellness Director with business demands.
  4. Fully understand and monitor daily treatment and retail sales revenues and ensure these are effectively communicated to all therapists
  5. Organize and control an effective stock management system of all treatment and retail product, following standard Purchase Order procedures.
  6. Ensure the efficient and effective scheduling of therapist roster. 
  7. Support the Spa & Wellness Director in organizing all Spa Therapists Schedule, and resources needed to deliver the day to day running of the Spa department; including but not limited to the ordering of products and consumables, Spa refreshments.
  8. Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Spa.
  9. Liaise with customers to make sure their requirements are met at all times.
  10. Proactively handle any customer complaints within the operations and use reasonable recompense to resolve any advised issues in consultation with the Spa Manager.
  11. Liaise with the other relevant departments to ensure that everyone understands the requirements of the Spa facilities as well as make sure Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) is maintained and followed at all times.
  12. Deliver the operations as directed by the Spa & Wellness Director to include delivery of external retail brands to the required standard.
  13. Assist in the delivery of an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and a passion for service.
  14. Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly and proactively to guests' needs.
  15. Being role model the service culture ambassador as described in the Values Statements.
  16. Assist in delivery of compliance with all Health & Safety policies, standards and procedures by supervising, follow-up and hands on management.
  17. Carry out pool tests throughout the day, maintaining safe pool chemical levels and the top up of any chemical where necessary; carry out top up of pool chemicals and weekly backwash.
  18. Maintain service standards in all areas including the cleanliness and presentation of the Spa, reception area, treatment rooms and changing areas.
  19. Understand the impact of the departments' operation on the overall financial contribution of operations by ensuring that all operations are run efficiently effectively and to set budgets.
  20. To have a working knowledge of the Health & Safety, Fire and Accident and reporting procedures.
  21. Assist in the effective induction, review and development plans for staff within the areas managed and to maintain appropriate records.
  22. Undertake any reasonable duties that may be required relating to the effective operation and development of commercial areas as directed by the Spa & Wellness Director.
  23. Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner.
  24. Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
  25. Keep documentation and maintain client’s files.
  26. Keep a clean and stocked room.
  27. Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.
  28. Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
  29. Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
  30. Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues.
  31. Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.


  • Guest focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
  • Acquired spa and beauty care professional course certificates
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
