Job Description

  • Supervise the daily operations of the spa, including reception, treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, wet areas (sauna, steam, jacuzzi, pool), fitness facilities, and retail areas
  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate a team of therapists, receptionists, and attendants to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Ensure all treatments and services are delivered in line with brand and spa standards
  • Manage staff scheduling and rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours
  • Conduct daily briefings, on-the-job training, and performance evaluations for spa staff
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to the Spa Manager when necessary
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all spa areas in line with UAE health and safety regulations
  • Oversee inventory management of spa products, amenities, and equipment; coordinate with suppliers and procurement as needed
  • Support the Spa Manager in achieving revenue targets through upselling of treatments, packages, and retail products
  • Ensure all spa equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, treatments, staff attendance, and revenue using the spa management system
  • Assist in the development and implementation of spa promotions, seasonal packages, and membership programs
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety requirements specific to spa operations in Dubai
  • Foster a professional, welcoming, and luxurious atmosphere consistent with a five-star hotel environment
  • Step in to perform treatments or front-desk duties when required to support the team during high-demand periods

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Beauty Therapy, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a spa environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or resort spa is highly preferred; experience in a large-scale spa operation is a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of spa treatments, wellness trends, and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, French, etc.) are an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of spa software/booking systems (e.g., Book4Time, SpaSoft, or similar)
  • A genuine passion for wellness, guest service, and hospitality excellence
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • UAE spa/hospitality industry experience preferred; knowledge of local health and safety regulations is a plus
