Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and experienced Spa & Wellness Manager to lead the daily operations of the wellness and spa facilities at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Spa & Wellness Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa and wellness program, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and alignment with the holistic spirit of Our Habitas. This role drives service quality, consistency, creativity, and wellbeing-focused offerings across all spa and wellness experiences.

The Spa & Wellness Manager will lead and develop the spa and wellness team, promote a culture of care, balance, and continuous improvement, and ensure all treatments and services are delivered according to established protocols, brand standards, and guest expectations. Working closely with the leadership team, this role helps curate destination-led wellness journeys that reflect local traditions, natural healing practices, and sustainable wellbeing concepts.

This position requires a hands-on wellness leader who thrives in a remote luxury resort environment, demonstrates strong operational and organizational skills, and is passionate about creating transformative guest experiences while building a high-performing, service-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities, ensuring smooth service delivery across all treatments and guest experiences.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and develop the spa and wellness team while maintaining a positive, calm, and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure all treatments, therapies, and wellness services are delivered according to established protocols, quality standards, and brand expectations.
  • Develop seasonal wellness programs, spa packages, and special offerings in collaboration with leadership, incorporating local healing traditions, natural ingredients, and holistic practices.
  • Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, consistency, and presentation of all spa and wellness experiences to ensure an elevated guest journey.
  • Oversee appointment scheduling, treatment flow, and operational efficiency to maximize productivity and guest comfort.
  • Manage spa retail performance, inventory levels, ordering, and stock control while maintaining budget targets and revenue goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and wellness industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of spa facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance and upkeep as required.
  • Work closely with Rooms, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and personalized wellness journeys.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and continuous training of spa and wellness team members.
  • Foster a culture of mindfulness, wellbeing, innovation, teamwork, and operational excellence within the spa environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Spa & Wellness Manager, Assistant Spa Manager, or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness facility.
  • Diploma or professional certification in Spa Management, Hospitality, Wellness, or Holistic Therapies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of spa operations, wellness programming, treatment protocols, and guest journey management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop diverse wellness teams.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, hygiene standards, and spa industry regulations.
  • Experience in inventory management, retail operations, purchasing, and cost control within a spa or wellness environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with spa management systems, booking platforms, or POS software.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Passion for wellness excellence, holistic therapies, innovation, and delivering transformative guest experiences.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, luxury resort environment.
