Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our international, award-winning Interior Design Studio on a 12 month contract.

As Senior Designer you will be responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables from concept generation to FF&E specification and construction documentation.

What you’ll do…

  • Lead the creation of innovative, sophisticated, and original designs across Interior and FF&E Design that represent Ennismore's portfolio of brands and push the studio to the forefront of hospitality design.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality design documentation from concept generation to tender documentation, reviewing design information produced by other team members.
  • Manage the workflow of one or two significant projects, continually reviewing and communicating resourcing requirements to the Project Associate.
  • Be responsible for signing off all construction / specialist subcontractor / manufacturer shop drawings, ensuring that the design intent, operational and durability requirements are met.
  • Attend site meetings, DTMs, and prototype reviews, liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers along the way and thinking quickly to resolve issues arising on site.
  • Oversee projects in the construction phase, attend regular meetings and workshop details with contractors and other key consultants to help implement our design intent.
  • Manage the installation of projects on site, coordinating activities with the operations and on site teams, compiling a look book and assisting with styling for photography.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • Highly proficient in using Sketchup to develop models of interiors, joinery and furniture from drawings and concept images.
  • Highly proficient in using AutoCAD to produce Stage 3 Design Packages including but not limited to:
    • General Arrangement plans
    • Internal elevations
    • Architectural details
    • Joinery details
    • Bespoke FF&E drawings including furniture and lighting pieces
  • Experienced user of Adobe Photoshop with ability to produce rendered floorplans, materials palettes and rendered visuals from Sketchup models.
  • Experienced user of Adobe InDesign with ability to prepare visually exciting, graphically considered concept presentations for internal and external use.
  • Ability to create and manage comprehensive schedules and matrixes in excel format across FF&E and Interior fit out.
