We are looking for a Sales Manager at Working From_.

We have always done coworking...Since 2006 The Hoxton has been home to laptop savvy workers making use of super-fast Wi-Fi and comfy sofas as they hustle away in a place that feels like home. So, it feels only natural for us to take our love for great experiences and create a space that offers everything you need to do your (other) day job or take over the world, in our stylish and comfortable surroundings.

Working From opened its doors in Feb 2020…. There’s something for everyone. Think hot-desking, open studios, dedicated offices, events & wellness spaces, a member café & bar and a stimulating events programme – all with stunning views over the Thames. 

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving all membership sales targets and driving the initiatives set for membership growth. You will conceptualise, direct and control membership acquisition and retention strategies. All done in your own style and flair demonstrating genuine hospitality embracing our family and showing attention to detail.


Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • The Sales Manager will ensure the product reflects the brand and the diverse community in Southwark and beyond.
  • Conduct outreach showing a high level or proactivity to engage with and secure new potential members and partners.
  • Continually assess membership to ensure relevant industries are well represented within the space, and that the space remains at full capacity.
  • Present and plan any additional revenue streams, thinking outside the box with a strategic mindset.
  • Review applications, meet prospects, conduct tours, assign memberships, and complete Ts & Cs and contracts.
  • Maintain and oversee the membership database to ensure it is up to date with useful and appropriate information on all members and prospects.
  • Promptly respond to all incoming membership enquires both directly and via brokers.
  • Work beside the Director of Co-Working to realise annual growth and revenue targets. Update and manage monthly reports and trackers.
  • Manage local membership initiatives within annual membership budget.
  • Engage with locals in creative fields; attend cultural and social events to develop knowledge, deepen contacts, and build brand awareness.
  • Hold weekly catch-up chats with the team to assist and coach on aspects of the tour process. Taking full ownership of the sales process conducting training when needed.
  • Work closely with both the Membership Engagement Manager and Coordinator creating accurate contracts and maintaining the membership CRM from a sales perspective.
  • Ongoing management and cultivating growth of the membership waitlist with a fair honest approach giving continuous communication to prospects.
  • Build strong and ongoing relationships with the Broker market and organise regular events to engage.
  • Plan, execute  and manage annual price increase with the support of the Director of Co-Working.
  • Prepare weekly sales meeting sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly sales plans to ensure the best opportunity to achieve financial targets.
  • Review yearly budgets and assist the Director of Co-Working with membership revenue figures.
  • Oversee the LinkedIn page for Working From_ using this as both a tool for sales but also sharing insight into all WF_ events.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Strong background in Membership Sales and management of a team, with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Background in commercial or residential real estate sales preferable.
  • Commercially astute and financially focused.
  • Experience in setting sales targets and sales planning.
  • High level of Emotional Intelligence, natural leader, and motivator.
  • Someone who’s great at growing and nurturing long lasting relationships; people are naturally drawn to working with you.
  • You understand hospitality, it’s in everything you do.
  • You pay attention to the details and care about creating great work.
