Exciting opportunity to join a progressive team.

An exciting opportunity to join the PROARK Commercial Team, The Mercure Nottingham Sherwood, is the largest hotel in portfolio with 172 rooms, 11 meetings rooms accommodating up to 200 delegates. The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment of public areas and bedrooms. Meeting room refurbishment currently underway, introducing a new fresh concept, modern furniture and state of the art technology.

 


Job Description

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, actioning and taking ownership in order
to drive all sales activities, both proactive and reactive within the hotel and local/national
market place/s, to meet budgeted revenue across all segments of the business and to
ensure that the hotel outperforms the Market.
Communicate hotel’s Sales Strategy to ensure that entire hotel team execute activity and
exploit all opportunities to achieve hotel target and rate expectations.


Qualifications

 Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
 High Energy, dynamic personality.
 Results-driven.
 Verbal, numerical and analytical abilities.
 Excellent negotiations and influencing skills.
 Able to drive actions that will add value to incremental spend.
