Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and market share
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to track progress and address challenges
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts
  • Create and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to optimize team performance and processes
  • Negotiate complex deals and contracts with high-value clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales strategies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, lead generation, and customer relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and business reviews
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
  • Knowledge of the local Chennai market and business landscape (preferred)
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities
