Job Description

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Utilize Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook on a day to day basis
  • Resolve client issues an engaging way.
  • Provide warm and engaging service in a fast pace and challenging work environment.
  • Assist with the maintenance of accounts, contact, activity and business details within appropriate software applications
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
  • Manage all incoming telephone enquiries effectively, ensuring all guest requests are addressed efficiently
  • Provide administrative assistance to all members of the Sales and team
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, colleagues and global sales network
  • Ensure all Sales promotional literature is current and updated
  • Update and ensure accuracy with all mailing lists
  • Prepare and disseminate month-end reports as required
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Pay rate: $32.06 USD Gross per hour

 


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience within luxury market, in similar or related role, preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required (Micros Opera S&C, and Meeting Matrix preferred).
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible, reliable and ethical.  A reputation for honesty and integrity.
  • Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple sources; while still prioritizing and maintaining control over workload.
  • Team player who is results oriented and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to work days, nights and weekend; when necessary.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements:
Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
