Job Description

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

Please note: the end date for this role will be September 30th

What you will be doing:

  • Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard; including making beds, dusting removing soiled linen from rooms, retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenishing supplies within room, etc.
  • Ensuring proper usage of all cleaning products & wearing all required personal protective equipment.
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest.
  • Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service.
  • Responsible for restocking housekeeping carts & closet/service areas daily.
  • Track and update room assignments throughout the day.
  • Report any maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written & verbal
