Job Description

The Room Attendant at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of guest rooms to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role upholds the highest standards of hygiene and presentation consistently aligned with the Raffles & Fairmont brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms daily according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Ensure all guest rooms are tidy, fresh, and fully stocked with necessary amenities.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
  • Handle guest requests related to housekeeping efficiently and courteously.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols during cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and notify supervisors of any shortages.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to maintain smooth operations.
  • Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.

Qualifications

  •  
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently while managing time effectively.
  • Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
